Free support and respite for unpaid carers in East Sussex
Do you look after somebody who couldn’t manage without your help? You are an unpaid Carer, and the Association of Carers has a service that could help YOU.
Volunteer-led services to help unpaid carers get a break and feel supported.
Carers can have a trusted volunteer provide respite time. They can relax while their cared-for person is looked after. This is usually for three hours a week.
They also offer:
- Friendly phone support
- Monthly lunch clubs
- Activity cafés where carers and those they care for can enjoy social time together.
- Practical help with computers and getting online
