Community Run Library

Ringmer Village Library opened in summer 2018 by local residents who worked together to keep a library in the village.

The library is in Ringmer Village Hall and run by the Hall Management Committee. When closed, the room is used by Ringmer Baptist Church, who cover half the rent.

Opening Hours

• Tuesday & Thursday: 2 – 5pm

• Wednesday & Saturday: 10am – 12pm

• Friday: 2 – 5pm (winter warm space)

What We Offer

• Free membership and instant borrowing

• Wide range of regularly updated books for all ages

• 3-week loan period

• Free public computer access

• Help getting online (bookable Wednesday mornings)

• Children’s rhyme & story time: Thursdays 2pm

• Summer Reading Challenge

• Reserve books from East Sussex libraries for collection here

• Donations of books or money welcome
